The FM-906 Intumescent Steel Fireproof Coating is a water based intumescent Steel Coating originally used for Structural Steel but now also applied to Ductwork.
FM-906, tested under BS476: Part 24 and listed with Certifre, can fire rate Ductwork for 120 minutes at 900 microns Dry film Thickness. This is an ideal solution for a direct coating to stop corrosion on the ductwork as well as save maximum space.
Application can be completed on existing installed ductwork for building upgrades or on pre-erected ductwork. With a dry film thickness under 1mm, the savings so a complete and effective solution.
