CharCoat CTI creates a thermal barrier by combining vacuum-filled ceramic microspheres, silicon microspheres, and specialized pigments to slow heat transfer through the coating. This mechanism mimics a hybrid of double glazing and traditional insulation, reflecting radiant heat while minimizing conductive heat flow. The coating can be applied to substrates at temperatures up to 70°C, allowing application without halting production. Its flexibility and adhesion ensure durability across complex geometries and extreme environments.
Superior Insulation: Reduces heat transfer & condensation.
CUI Protection: Prevents corrosion, allows inspection without removal.
Easy Application: Spray, roll, or brush on surfaces up to 70°C.
Energy Efficient: Cuts heating & cooling costs.
Durable: UV-resistant, flexible, withstands up to 210°C.
Safe & Eco-Friendly: Water-based, low odor, non-toxic.
Acoustic Benefit: Adds sound insulation.
Low Maintenance: Simple touch-ups & recoating.
Insulating pipelines and tanks in oil & gas, chemical, and mineral processing to prevent CUI and energy loss.
Coating steel structures, bridges, and railway lines to minimize thermal expansion stresses.
Enhancing thermal efficiency in commercial and residential buildings, including roofs and walls.
Protecting shipping containers and transport vehicles for temperature-sensitive goods.
Insulating power generation equipment like boilers and economizers for improved efficiency.
