ShieldCrete Products and Technical Documents

ShieldInject S1 is a NON-DG, low viscosity single component hydrophobic, polyurethane with excellent flexibility. It is used to seal leaks in concrete cracks and joints. The injection system utilised for the product can be static mixers, pumps, surface parts and applied technologies surface pastes as a complete concrete crack repair system.

Upon direct contact with water, ShieldInject S1 produces a rapid reaction forming expanding foam allowing all gaps and joints be filled and completely sealed off. Fully cured ShieldInject S1 foam will not shrink in volume because it is a hydrophobic formula. The foam that is produced is a closed cell foam that cuts off water penetration.

ShieldPatch X2 is a fast and efficient solution for high abrasion, cut and impact situation repairs, our two-part polymer resin is specially designed for conveyor belt repairs. Developed for use primarily on conveyor belts, it can also be used for repairs on concrete surfaces, rubber linings, and polyurea coatings. ShieldPatch X2 versatile formula ensures quick and hassle-free repairs.

ShieldPoly CV has been specifically formulated to give additional abrasion resistance, higher elongation, with a tensile strength that prevents mass delamination., Our system is recognized as more durable than the original belt. At the same time, if the coating is damaged it won’t peel the polyurea off in massive sheets and clog up the system typical of.

ShieldPrime CV was developed to remove all requirements for solvent etching. BeltShield has been used on conveyor belts for FMG, Rio Tinto and BHP.

SCP 743 is a spray-applied treatment that is specifically engineered to penetrate the capillaries and pores of reinforced concrete structures to prevent electrolyte ingress into the concrete and to stabilise pH to help protect embedded reinforcing steel. SCP 743 is a one-time application that increases durability and provides permanent protection, reducing recurring maintenance saving time and money.

SCP 578 stabilises the chemistry of concrete, which is constantly influenced by environmental conditions that contribute to durability issues such as carbonation and/or efflorescence. Spray applied, SCP 578 penetrates concrete capillaries and pores, reacts with free alkali in the concrete, and forms a Calcium-Silicate- Hydrate (C-S-H) reaction in the capillaries and pores to waterproof and protect the concrete.

ShieldFoam PLF (Pole Lock Foam) is a closed cell polyurethane foam designed as a structural foundation replacement for concrete backfill of poles and posts. It can be used to set new poles in the ground, or to straighten existing poles. It is a cost effective, durable alternative to concrete backfill that still allows easy access for inspections of the pole in the below-ground section and requires only 15 minutes to set before conductor stringing.

ShieldChlor-Rid is a one-step application process which decontaminates surfaces at the molecular level, eliminating visually undetectable levels of highly corrosive substances, providing a uniform receptive surface prior to coatings application. The result is that protective coatings are more durable, more corrosion resistant and, therefore, substantially less likely to require frequent maintenance cycles, in other words;
assets last longer and cost less to maintain.

ShieldProof is added with anti-slip material, low viscosity, solvent free, two component polyacrylate dispersion resin, hardener a crosslinking agent. ShieldProof Anti-Slip can be operated after mixing 4:1 ratio, it is two component mixed paint, can adjust viscosity with water according to actual construction by painted or sprayed.
