CharCoat CC cable coating has been used in our facility for the last thirty-seven years. The application process was accomplished easily by two people averaging 500 sq. ft. per shift. We found the bright white color to be a constant safety reminder while also helping identify sprayed areas.
Applications both inside and outside have withstood the demanding conditions found throughout our steel mill. The application, appearance, and durability are all important factors, but most important to us is performance. CharCoat has, on several occasions, proved its value during fire situations at our facility and remains an approved part of our Fire Prevention Program.

The performance of the IC Coating over the 11kV CT has been satisfactory, with the Insulation resistance readings as follows:
• Before IC Application: 370 MΩ
• After IC Application: 1.81 GΩ
The significant improvement in insulation resistance is a testament to the high quality of the CharCoat IC product and the skilled execution by the Krishaa team.
